For over 40 years, the Distinguished Teacher Award has recognized exceptional teaching and dedication to the students and mission of Pratt Institute

The Distinguished Teacher is nominated by students and the award is conferred jointly by the Academic Senate, administration, and Board of Trustees. The recipient addresses the student body at Honors Convocation, presents the mace at graduation ceremonies, and delivers a speech at commencement.
