Senate Committee on Indigenous Knowledge (Ad hoc)

The Committee on Indigenous Knowledge shall convene in order to create the charge for a standing committee on Indigenous Knowledge. The proposal for the standing committee was presented to the Senate and it was felt that prior to the committee forming, an ad-hoc committee needed to come together to more explicitly outline a charge for the standing committee. As an ad-hoc committee, it is appointed and only in effect for the remaining fiscal year.

Members, 2025–26

The Committee on Indigenous Knowledge (Ad hoc) shall consist of no more than five voting members. Voting members shall be elected Senate constituents. A majority of the voting members shall be faculty.

The Committee on Indigenous Knowledge (Ad hoc) shall be chaired by a faculty member elected by the committee. The chair shall be confirmed by the Senate by simple majority vote at the next meeting of the Senate.
